How to prepare a PDF that is ready to print
Check page size, fonts, margins and page order before sending a document to print. A practical checklist for a clean final PDF.

Export your document as a PDF, then open that exported file and check it before ordering prints. Reviewing the actual file you will upload catches blank pages, clipped tables and changed fonts while they are still easy to fix.
Set the paper size before polishing the layout
Choose the page size and orientation in the original document first. Changing them after arranging tables and headings can change where pages break. Our paper-size guide explains when a larger sheet is useful.
Keep page numbers, signatures and other important content away from the edges. If one table is too wide, adjust that table or the page orientation in the source document instead of shrinking every page until the body text becomes difficult to read.
Export, then reopen the saved copy
In desktop Word, use the save or export option for PDF. Where a quality choice appears, choose the standard printing option rather than the smallest file size. Microsoft’s PDF export instructions also explain how to include or exclude revision markup.
Open the exported copy from the folder you will upload from. Work through these checks:
- Check the first page, last page and total page count.
- Inspect tables, images, footnotes and page numbers.
- Read mixed Arabic and English lines, including numbers and punctuation.
- Look for comments or tracked changes that should not appear.
- Investigate blank pages before removing them; some deliberately start a new section on a fresh sheet.
For separated Arabic letters or unexpected boxes, follow the Arabic font checks before proceeding.
Decide whether the page may be scaled
Actual-size printing preserves the document’s scale. A fit option adjusts it to the available printable area, as Adobe explains in its page-sizing guide. For a template that must retain exact dimensions, measure a printed sample rather than relying on a screen preview.
Check the final upload
Warqti accepts PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files as well as JPEG, PNG and HEIC images, with a current limit of 25 MiB per file and 50 pages after conversion. Uploading the PDF you have already checked means what prints is what you reviewed. Give the final copy a recognisable filename so you do not select an earlier draft. Check the page count and number of copies in your order against what you actually need.
