Terms of Service
Last updated 21 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-21
These terms are the agreement between you and Warqti (ورقتي), company registration pending, for the use of the Warqti website and app. By creating an account you accept them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. Questions go to hello@warqti.com.
What Warqti is
Warqti connects people who need documents printed with independent partner print shops (maktabas, kiosks and stationeries) that own printers. You upload a document, pay with Print Credit, pick a partner shop, and receive a single-use pickup code with a QR. At the shop, the partner scans your code in your presence, and only then is your file released to their printer. Warqti earns a commission from the partner; you pay the price shown before you order.
Partner shops are independent businesses. They are not employees or agents of Warqti.
Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or mobile number. There are no passwords.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.
- You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- Warqti never asks for your one-time code by phone, email or chat. If someone does, it is not us. You are responsible for actions taken with a code you shared.
Print Credit
- Print Credit is a prepaid balance you top up online through our payment provider, Paymob. Amounts are in Egyptian pounds (EGP).
- Print Credit is personal and non-transferable. It cannot be sent to another user or paid out to a partner.
- Print Credit does not expire while your account is open.
- You can request a refund of unused Print Credit to your original payment method from the app. Refund requests are reviewed before they are processed, and the money goes back the way it came.
- Paymob handles card and payment data on its own systems. Warqti does not store card numbers.
Placing an order
- The price for each file, at each shop, is shown before you pay. It depends on the shop's rates and your print settings (pages, copies, colour, paper size).
- An order can hold up to 10 files and 200 printed pages. Each file can be up to 25 MB and 50 pages.
- Before we accept an order we check that the shop has a printer able to produce every file in it. If it does not, the order is refused and nothing is charged.
- Once you pay, you get a pickup code and a QR. The code is valid for 6 hours by default. You can re-issue it up to 3 times within the original window. After 5 wrong attempts the code locks.
- Your file is released to the shop's printer only when the partner scans your code in your presence. The partner cannot open your file before that.
Refunds
- If a file cannot be printed after release, that file is refunded to your Print Credit automatically. Files that did print are not refunded.
- If you do not collect an order before its code expires, the order is cancelled and refunded to your Print Credit automatically.
- For any refunded amount you can request a transfer back to your original payment method from the app. These requests are reviewed before processing.
- If you believe a print was faulty or incomplete, contact us within 48 hours at hello@warqti.com with your order reference. We mediate with the partner and decide on a refund based on the print record.
Your documents
- Documents are encrypted at rest and deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. If a file expires before you order, you will be asked to upload it again.
- You keep all rights in your documents. You give Warqti and the chosen partner permission to store, convert and print them only to fulfil your order.
- You must have the right to print what you upload. Do not upload material that infringes copyright, contains illegal content, or is otherwise unlawful to reproduce in Egypt.
- We do not read your documents. We may act on specific reports of illegal content as the law requires.
What you must not do
- Use Warqti for anything illegal, or to print content you have no right to print.
- Try to access other users' data, partners' systems or our infrastructure without permission.
- Share, sell or automate access to your account.
- Abuse refunds, chargebacks or promotions.
- Harass or threaten partner staff or Warqti staff.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we may withhold refunds where an order was placed in bad faith.
Partners and print quality
The partner shop is responsible for the physical print: paper, ink, finishing and handing it to you. Warqti is responsible for the platform: pricing, payment, secure delivery of your file to the shop, and the pickup code. If a dispute arises, we mediate between you and the partner and use the print record to decide.
Liability
Warqti provides the platform with reasonable care, but we cannot promise that every shop is open, every printer is online, or every print is perfect. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Egyptian law.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by writing to hello@warqti.com. We refund unused Print Credit to your original payment method on request, then remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, keeping only what the law requires. We may close an account for abuse, fraud or breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
When we make material changes, we will ask you to review and accept the new version in the app before you continue. The version date is shown at the top of this page.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. We will always try to solve problems directly with you first.
